Dear MC Family,

For the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester (through April 29), the university will deliver course content online or via alternate instruction (video and other forms of delivery) for undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools.
At this time, no decision about schedules for final exams and commencement has been made.
Mississippi College is committed to completing the semester and ensuring that all students can fulfill their academic requirements as planned.
Students who remain in campus housing or in the Clinton area should be aware that access to many facilities and services – including dining and the library – are limited. All traditional student programming and activities are suspended, and a “no visitation” policy has been implemented in all residence halls.
If the university closes its Clinton campus, refunds or credits related to room and board expenses will require approval by the MC Board of Trustees.
The university is canceling or postponing all on-campus events through April 30. This includes recruitment events, tours, student programs, performances, conferences, and social events. MC has suspended all athletic competition, events, practices, and recruiting.
We are doing our best to respond to the numerous questions about operations, classes, workplace issues, and health matters. You can find an updated list of Q&As on MC’s COVID-19 website.
This is an extraordinary situation for everyone. We are grateful to all members of the MC community for your cooperation and flexibility as we seek to protect the health of our students, faculty, and staff, and continue our university’s vital mission of academic excellence and commitment to the cause of Christ.
